Okay - so I'm a flower child at heart, right out of the 60's - a hippy in street clothes disguised as a businessman. But, deep down inside, in my heart of hearts, I yearn to do wild and crazy kind of hippy stuff, like lacing up bicycle spokes to look like flowers.
As much as I feel tempted to, I'm not about to say that this is a really dumb idea. After all, I was skeptical about scooters in general - before I bought one and fell in love with it. And, the first kickbike I saw, while it didn't look 'stupid', did look extremely odd. So, I'm not going to say that the Treadmill Bike is one of the stupidest ideas I have seen. I'm not. . . .
One of the biggest barriers to the active expansion of footbiking, kickbiking, trikking, and other foot/leg driven hpv sports is that the devotees are relative small in number, and are “apparently” physically separated by large distances.

I'm convinced that one major factor behind the Japanese longevity is all the stairs they have to climb every day just to get anywhere.
And, yes - if they didn't put the orange cones on the ramp some fools (like me) would try to ride straight down the middle of the ramp.

Usually I totally ignore the special recommendations that clutter the Amazon home page. It’s kind of like the irritating sales people that come up to you in the store with a faux smile saying “May I help you?” when their body language telegraphs a “What can I push on you today?” message.
