Modifications & Adjustments- One size never fits all, and since I'm close to 2 meters tall I've had to make some modifications to all my vehicles.

A Kicking Animal
About a year ago my wife and I made the trek to the Chiba Zoo. Getting there was pretty involved - bus to the local station, train for about 15 minutes, then the monorail. So I had the impression that the Zoo was quite far away from our place. Then, one beautiful weekend morning, I was trying to decide where to kick to, and she suddenly suggested, "Why don't you visit the Zoo?"

I am constantly amazed, and delighted to discover how active and apparently large the Portland bicycling culture is. In addition to the more 'normal' cycling events like biking to work type days, they have extensive bike lanes with markers that have attracted a following as an urban art form; bicycle weddings; bicycle household moves where a group of cyclists help someone move their entire belongings using bicycles; and bicycle racks that are functional yet humorous works of bicycle art.

I've done this before. We probably all have at one time or another.
You're in a hurry and without thinking you loop your bike lock through one of the wheels to secure it to a post or tree, then rush off to your appointment. Thankfully, my bike, and my Kickbike, have always been there when I returned and realized my mistake - at least so far, knock on wood.
